Piaget | Dancer, Lady Size, Manual Wind | 9006 | Rp 58.800.000 | | 1992 | Watch and Papers | 24mm | Vintage Dress Watch | Manual Wind

Launched in the mid 80's, the Dancer was designed with the philosophy of a 'watch-bracelet,' treating the object as a single, unified piece. The ref. 9006's visual depth stems from the contrast between the polished, repeating hobnail pattern on the bezel and the finely brushed surface of the dial. This specific combination of finishes produces a notably attractive glimmer.

Piaget was established in 1874 by Georges-Édouard Piaget in the Swiss village of La Côte-aux-Fées, initially as a high-precision movement manufacturer supplying other prominent brands. The maison's defining characteristic was solidified by the third generation, Gérald and Valentin Piaget, who introduced the revolutionary ultra-thin calibres 9P (manual) in 1957 and the micro-rotor 12P (automatic) in 1960. This technical mastery of thinness enabled Piaget's stylistic liberation in the 1960s and 70s, allowing its designers to create avant-garde pieces defined by hard-stone dials, cuff watches, and integrated gold bracelets.
