The Zenith Chronomaster Revival A385 is a faithful reproduction of the original A385 from 1969, which was one of the first three watches to house the legendary El Primero calibre, the world's first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement. The watch is powered by the El Primero 400 automatic movement, which, like the 1969 original, operates at a high frequency of 36,000 VpH (5 Hz). This allows the central chronograph hand to measure time with 1/10th of a second precision. The watch case is historically accurate, retaining the 37mm tonneau (cushion-shaped) stainless steel case and radial brushed finish of the original. This "Revival" model was created using the original production plans from 1969.
