Breitling | Super Ocean Heritage Chronograph | A23370 | Rp 38.800.000 | | 2016 | Full-set | 44mm | Dive Chronograph | Chronometer Chronograph

This A23370 reference successfully translated Breitling's 1957 Superocean design into a modern chronograph. The watch is powered by the Breitling Calibre 23, a COSC-certified chronometer built upon the robust and proven architecture of the ETA Valjoux 7753. This base calibre is notable for its specific bicompax layout.

Founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling, the company built its reputation as a specialist in technical timepieces, most notably chronographs. Breitling's development of the first independent pusher in 1915, followed by the second reset pusher in 1934, established the definitive architecture for the modern wrist chronograph.

Their expertise secured an inextricable bond with aviation, first as a supplier of on-board cockpit clocks to air forces like the RAF, and later with the 1952 debut of the Navitimer, a pilot's watch featuring a circular slide rule for flight calculations. Today, the brand continues this legacy, producing a range of COSC-certified chronometers, including its in-house B01 manufacture calibre, for its air, land, and sea collections.
